About the Event
The Bryan Brown Youth Academy is an annual overnight summer program for Tohono O’odham and other Native youth ages 14–17. Hosted at Southern Pines Baptist Camp, the Academy provides a safe and supportive environment where participants build leadership skills, strengthen cultural pride, develop self-care practices, and engage in hands-on learning experiences. Through interactive workshops, team-building activities, and community connections, youth are challenged to grow, lead, and represent their families and communities with confidence.
